This four day trek is called Royal trek. It's referred to as a royal trek because Prince Charles did his first trek in this region. The trek initiates from Kalikathan (1372m)whicg is close to the city, Pokhara. Afterwards, you walk through Shyaklung (1734m) village and Chisopani danda (ridge).After the walk, the trek ends at the Begnas-tal (lake), which is about 10km away from Pokhara.From this point, you cross through small rural villages that have exquisite ethnic diversity of their own. One of the most significant part of the trek is that there are no houses. Tea houses are also not present. It's a solitary trek away from the crowds. This trek starts and terminates in Pokhara.Although you can start from Kathmandu if you have flight in the morning. Also, the highest elevation gain on the trek is 1830 meter.
Day to Day Itinerary
Day 01: On the very first day of the trek, we trek to Kalikathan (1372m)
Day 02: On the second trek, we get to Shyaklung (1734m)
Day 03: On the third day, we get to Chisopani Danda with a trek.
Day 04: On the fourth day, we trek to Begnastal (lake). Overnight in Pokhara or drive back to Kathmandu.
